The painting of Gianni has always fascinated me,
powerful gesture and delicate floral subject.
 When I had the opportunity to know him I
appreciated his joy and passion for
painting that he always lives with great energy.
This photo project is a slice of Gianni's daily life,
 from the activity of painting
"en plein air" until the creation of the paintings
 in the studio where I used the light to symbolize
the "Creative Spark" of painterly gesture.
